What is MacRoboWar?
RoboWar is freeware game where you match your brains in a
robot-bashing contest. In this game you program (in an easy laguage!),
create cool animations, sounds, and figure out new ways to crush other
robots.
OK, so it has been a long, long time, but in the interest of allowing
people to support RoboWar, we now have a sourceforge project! So if
you are intesrested please signup with sourcefore and/or email
us.
Mac OS X: There is a Carbonised version of RoboWar in progress thanks to Sam Rushing.
More news, and download information soon.
Windows: Now, there's a Windows version of RoboWar!! It has full Mac compatibility. In other words, you can run all your old Mac robots on Windows! Click

Java: There is a Java version that Lucas did some work on ages
ago - this will be uploaded shortley.
(please note that we'll be moving this to the proper sourceforge area
sometime - we are currently having issues with this due to the old Mac
sit and hqx formats. These should really not be hosted here - sorry
sourcefore people! - we'll fix it soon!)

Some extra tools:
RoboWarConverter.sit.hqx - A "Carbon" Mac application to convert classic robot files into the new cross-platform RWXML format. Drag your bots or even folders of bots onto the app's icon to convert several at a time. (Updated 2004-12-23)

Theory of Robot Design
The popular, influential and famous Theory of Robot Design by
Eric Foley has been
reuploaded to SourceForge! There's some updates to it
too. Win versions of most of the sample robots are also available. Still,
there's a lot of things missing in it =(. Contribution is welcome!
